BIOGRAPHY

Steve Rockamaniac, born March 5th 1984, was exposed to both the wrestling and radio worlds at a very early age in life. Having followed wrestling for over 17 years now, he has seen all the up's and downs of the wrestling world since the late 1980's. Add to that his passion for his other favorite form of entertainment in Radio, and you have the man you see or in this case hear before you today.

For over 4 years now, Steve Rockamaniac has been revolutionizing the radio wrestling world in Montreal. Starting out as a Contributor, and later becoming a Co-Host and ultimately a Host and Producer of  In The Ring Radio on CFMB 1280am and on the CTV Contact 12 Wrestling Hotline. Steve has now stepped into The Main Event in hopes of  teaming with Ryan Rider to form the top team in Montreal wrestling radio history and help revolutionize the radio wrestling airwaves as CJLO heads down the road to AM radio.

Before beginning his career in radio, Steve was an avid fanatic of the airwave media. From a young age, Steve could often be found late at night listening to a transistor radio, usually tuning into the rantings and ravings of  Montreal radio legend  Ted Tevan. Even to this day, Steve is a avid follower of the radio industry, which is one reason he chose to take the leap into being an on air personality himself.

The name "Rockamaniac" was given to Steve by former Montreal radio personality, Gabriel Morency, after Steve became a frequent caller and later webmaster to Morency's Sports Weekly/Sports Rage radio program, and during his calls, Steve would discuss the latest going ons of his favorite baseball team, the Colorado Rockies. Thus he was a "Rockies Maniac", or "Rockamaniac"

Wrestling wise, Steve has at one time or another been a follower of every major federation / territory of the past 17 plus years. Whether it be WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH, Deep South or OVW, Steve follows it all, and prides himself in being on top of all the latest in the world of pro wrestling.

Steve is also an avid contributor to the Quebec Independant Wrestling scence. In the past 5 years he has been associated with 5 different federations, and is also a contributor to the annual Quebec Wrestling Almanach, written and published by Patric Laprade.
