If you were a fan of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling, then you may or may not of been a fan of XPW. After all XPW and ECW did have some major heat and a East Coast vs West Coast rivalry quickly brewed. Many ECW fans refused to watch the XPW product calling it a cheap ripoff, while others saw it as the alternative when the ECW empire began to dissolve. At this point it almost doesnt matter what side of the fence you fell on as both companies are now things of the past, but if you were a hardcore ECW or XPW fan who has been trying to get your fix of the old days then the XPW Class X DVD series is going to hook you up. Specifically If you want to see how the death of ECW affected the XPW product as one by one ECW stars made the jump to XPW, then check out the recently released Big Vision Entertainment DVD  XPW Wrestling : After The Fall

After The Fall is a 2 disc DVD set featuring over 6 hours of XPW action including some never before seen matches. The theme of course is that as ECW came to its final days, many of its stars were left without a job, and XPW is where they turned, so every match and segment on this DVD set features former ECW originals in action. The long list includes the likes of Terry Funk, Sabu, Shane Douglas, Sandman and many others. At the time, I had heard of XPW but almost never got a chance to see what they had to offer, living on the east coast I had seen ECW on TV and PPV and was a fan of their work. Now to this day I always enjoy getting a chance to see the originals in action and thus I enjoyed After The Fall a hell of a lot. The DVD is a welcomed release in this day and age of a revived interest in the original ECW, and thus even if you were a hater of XPW at the time, youd probably get some enjoyment in watching this DVD now and seeing the stars that you once idolized in ECW.

 There is also some bonus fan cam matches featuring Raven taking on Vic Grimes, Ian Rotten vs Supreme and Big Dick Dudley vs White Trash Johnny Webb and Damien Steele, Also I must make mention of the debut of the juice bar with Juventund Guerrera, which quite frankly could be the nuttiest in ring talk show ive ever seen.

Beyond the Juice Bar, I most enjoyed seeing some classic Sabu action as his run with XPW title is a main part of this DVD and documents how Rob Black tried so hard to get the title off him bringing in the likes of Terry Funk, Adbullah The Butcher and sicking The Messiah on him. It was also special to see some of the stars who have now left us like Big Dick Dudley and Public Enemy.
